Who we are

EliteTech Services is a licensed electrical and air conditioning contractor operating across the Perth metropolitan area in Western Australia. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean EliteTech Services.

We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you contact us through our website, by phone, by SMS or by email, we may collect:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your suburb and, when we attend a job, your street address
  • Details about the work you need done
  • Photographs of the work site or equipment, where you send them to us or we take them as part of quoting or completing a job
  • Records of our communications with you, including notes of phone calls, SMS and emails
  • Payment and invoicing details

If you apply for a payment plan through one of our finance partners, they collect their own information directly from you under their own privacy policy. We do not collect or store your finance application details.

How we collect it

We collect information directly from you — through the enquiry form on this website, when you call or text us, when you email us, and when we speak with you at your property.

We may also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit our website, such as your approximate location, browser type, and which pages you viewed.

Why we collect it

We use your information to:

  • Prepare and send you a quote
  • Contact you about your enquiry, including by phone, SMS and email
  • Schedule and carry out the work
  • Order equipment and materials for your job
  • Issue invoices and process payments
  • Meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed electrical contractor, including issuing electrical safety certificates
  • Honour our workmanship guarantee, which requires us to keep records of what we installed and when
  • Send you service reminders or occasional updates about our services, where you have consented to receive them

SMS and email from us

When you submit an enquiry, you consent to us contacting you by phone, SMS and email about that enquiry. This includes an automatic SMS confirming we've received your request.

If we send you marketing messages — service reminders, seasonal offers or similar — every message will include a way to opt out, and we will act on your opt-out promptly, as required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Opting out of marketing does not stop us contacting you about a job you have booked.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Subcontractors and trades we engage to complete part of your job
  • Suppliers, where equipment needs to be ordered or a manufacturer's warranty registered in your name
  • Our software providers, including our customer management system, which store data on our behalf
  • Our accountant and payment processors, for invoicing and payments
  • Finance providers, if you choose to apply for a payment plan — with your consent
  • Regulators and insurers, where we are required to provide records, such as electrical safety compliance documentation

Some of our software providers store data on servers outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to measure the performance of our advertising. This may include Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta (Facebook) pixel.

These tools may collect information about your device, your approximate location and the pages you visit. They may also allow us to show you our ads on other websites after you have visited ours.

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you using our website or contacting us.

How we store and protect it

We store your information in secure, password-protected systems and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure.

We keep records for as long as we need them for the purposes described above, and for as long as we are required to by law. Electrical compliance records and job records supporting our workmanship guarantee are kept for the life of that guarantee.

Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. There is no charge for making a request.

You can also ask us to delete your information. We will do so unless we are required to keep it — for example, electrical compliance records, or records supporting a guarantee still in force.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first using the details below and we will work with you to resolve it.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
